Credo is the central movement of an Organ Mass composed by five different composers. The Mass was premiered by Konstantin Volostnov on Nov. 29, 2009 at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception of The Blessed Virgin Mary in Moscow, as part of the Moscow Autumn series (sponsored by the Union of Composers).
The work is based on the 7-note opening motive of the Gregorian chant and is composed in an arch form.
